Ingredients:
1. Tapioca - 1kg
2. Turmeric - 1/2 tsp
3. Green Chilli - 3
4. Onion - 1
5. Curry Leaves - 5 to 6
6. Mustard Seeds - 1 tsp
7. Salt - 1 tsp
8. Oil - 4 tbsp
9. Water- 2 Cups
Method:
Step 1) Firstly, remove the skin of tapioca, wash it properly and cut it into small pieces.
Pressure cook tapioca pieces in 2 cups of water with turmeric powder and salt for 3 whistles.
Open pressure cooker lid once the pressure has reduced.
Step 2) In a kadai heat 4 tablespoon oil, add mustard seeds let it splutter then add slited green chillies and curry leaves.
Now add chopped onion, fry it for 2 to 3 minutes and then add boiled tapioca.
Mix it well.
Cover with the lid for 5 minutes.
Delicious Kappa kizhangu Ready!!
Step 3) This can be used as breakfast as well as evening snacks.
