Ingredients:
For Kneading Dough:-
Wheat Flour (Atta): 1 cup
Maida: 1 cup
Salt: 1/2 tsp
Water: 1/2 cup
Oil: 1 tbsp
For Making Chicken Kheema Stuffing:-
Chicken Kheema: 1/2 kg
Potato: 1 large
Onion: 1 big
Green Chilli Paste: 2 tsp
Ginger Garlic paste: 2 tsp
Garam Masala Powder: 1 tsp
Coriander Powder: 1 tsp
Turmeric powder: 1/2 tsp
Coriander leaves for garnishing
Oil: 3-4 tbsp
Salt as needed
Method:
Kneading Dough:-
Step 1) In a bowl or plate take wheat flour (atta), maida mix well.
Add salt, oil and half cup water. Mix together and knead into a smooth soft dough.
Cover and keep aside for 15 minutes.
Dough Ready!!
Making Chicken Kheema Stuffing:-
Step 2) Firstly boil the potato and keep aside.
When it cool down completely peel it and mash it with a masher.
Step 3) In a hot frying pan add oil, add finely chopped onion fry it till it turns light brown in colour.
Now add ginger garlic paste and green chilli paste.
Mix well till the raw smell goes off.
Step 4) Now add properly cleaned and washed chicken kheema.
Mix/combine well for 5 minutes in medium flame.
Step 5) Now add turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder and salt.
Mix well. Cover with a lid for 5 minutes till it turns soft.
Step 6) After some time add mashed potato and mix well till water evaporates.
when the stuffing becomes completely dry garnish it with coriander leaves.
Chicken kheema stuffing ready!!
Rolling:-
Step 7) Take a medium ball dough. Roll and flatten it. Dust with some flour (atta) both sides and roll it in a circle shape.
Step 8) Now place the chicken kheema stuffing in the center.
Step 9) Take the edges pleat and bring together in the center. Join and press the pleats together in the center. Seal and flatten the roll and sprinkle some flour and roll the paratha to same size as that of roti/chapati.
Rolling ready!!
Cooking The Parathas:-
Step 10) On a medium heat gas place the tawa, once heated place the paratha on the tawa.
Step 11) When the base of paratha is partly cooked flip it with a spatula and spread some ghee/oil/butter.
Step 12) After some time flip again a brown colour dots will be seen on the paratha.
Spread little ghee/oil/butter on this side too. Paratha will puff up.
Step 13) Repeat the flipping process again till both the sides of paratha are cooked properly.
Step 14) With a spatula press the edges so that the sides are also cooked properly.
Delicious Chicken Kheema Paratha Ready!!
Step 15) Serve hot with green chutney (Coriander and Mint Leaves Chutney).
