Ingredients:
1. Beans - 250 gms
2. Onion - 1
3. Green Chilli - 2
4. Grated Coconut - 1/2 Cup
5. Mustard Seeds - 1/2 tsp
6. Cumin Seeds - 1/2 tsp
7. Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
8. Oil - 2 tbsp
9. Salt as required
Method:
Step 1) In a kadai heat 2 tbsp oil, add mustard seeds let it splutter then add cumin seeds, slited green chillies and finely chopped onion .
Mix well and fry it for 2 minutes.
Step 2) Now add chopped french beans, turmeric powder and salt as needed.
Mix well and cover it for 5 minutes.
Stir it occasionally. Cook till the beans turn soft.
Step 3) Once the beans turn soft and cooked properly add grated coconut and mix well.
Cook it for a minute and switch off the flame.
Delicious Beans thoran ready!!
Step 4) Serve hot with Chapati/ Roti.
Also can be used as a side dish with dal and rice.
